Last thing first and old news after...
I finally got to meet Dave of Criminy Jickets, in person. Tempted by the scent of wholesale-priced Peace Fleece, and my offer to put together a group order, he was finally lured into the open (well, actually the warmth of a favourite coffee shop), to pick up his yarn. Leanne of To Knit is Divine came to get her yarn too, and to add to the Ottawa knit-blogger fest Sarah of The Fish Knits took advantage of our rendezvous to drop off Dave's and Leanne's shares of the Knit Picks group order that she had organized. Fortunately I had brought Youngest Child with me and she happily acted as photographer, snapping a pic with every camera available. This is the one I got. Dave and Leanne may have better ones. I think Sarah had camnesia. Only time will tell.

I assure you that Dave was only following Youngest Child's instructions to look serious, while the rest of us just couldn't manage it. Dave is a sweetheart and gifted both Sarah and me with scrumptious yarn as a token of appreciation for our mad group ordering skillz.

Well, the weather today was cold, grey, and raining. All day. So the Rhinebeck loot photos had to be taken on the corner of my desk, near the window and what little daylight there was. Anyway, I think I was pretty restrained in my acquisitions. Everything I bought fit into one shopping bag with room to spare. See?
