Warning! Extremely bright knitting!

I finished this baby hat more than a week ago, but haven't managed to find the time to blog. It led to the beginning of another hat,

but this one is stalled at the moment because the slip stitch pattern pulls in too much. It will be frogged back to the edging and redone as something stranded.
I also finished this pair of socks.
Just looking at them makes you feel warm, doesn't it? The yarn was superwash merino in "Heart of the Sunrise" from Perchance to Knit.
And that's not all! But that's all for today.

Those socks look wonderful. Do you do toeup?
Perfect kid hat! I do like the second set of colors better, but who can argue with screaming pink? Sunglasses for knitting...new concept.
You must be having a lot of fun over there. The knitting sure looks to be fun. Love the hat.
Oh such a beautiful little hat and bright sock, great knitting!
What a gorgeous bright little hat! So playful! I'm looking forward to seeing what you work out with that second one, the colours and the edging just makes me happy :^)
Warm and sunny socks! aaahhhhh.
I am loving the hats! Isn't that what one needs in the depths of winter- a shot of high-voltage colour??? Great job.
I agree with Helen - great edges on the hats. And I love the socks, which has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they're orange.
Cool hat and cozy socks! Great!
What a cool edge on both hats!
