Chicken Surprise
There are a few more pieces.
When the main piece is folded in half and the comb and wattle are added - presto! Chicken Surprise.
Well, actually it is Henrietta, a delightful Fiber Trends pattern, in progress.
Sewing and felting still to come. And there are chicks too!
Here you can see one in pieces and one sewn up and ready to felt.
In other knitting news, here is a Feather and Fan scarf, done in Koigu, that I completed about 3 weeks ago and gave to my co-worker Anne on her last day of work.
She really liked it. Can you tell?
It's going to look fabulous with her black winter coat and since she has moved to Quebec City, which has even more winter than Ottawa, I know it is going to get lots of wear. I miss you Anne.
And there is still more to show you! Don't I look very pleased about finishing those socks?
Here's the view from my perspective. A very neat fit, even if I do say so myself.

I did not expect that to be a chicken.
I like the Koigu colorway. I think the scarf person looks more pleased than the sock person.
Another great chicken in the making, how cool, and she has babies!
That scarf is gorgeous and how sweet and thoughtful are you!
Great mansocks....and they DO look to be a fabulous fit.
(recovered from the weeding,eh?) ;^)
Gee, I have a feather and fan scarf just like that on the needles, except in a different colourway. I wonder where I might have got the idea?
Oh, that chicken is too cool! And it has babies!! It looks humongous.
