Norma Knows Weeds
Yes indeed. When Norma says she has a lot of weeds, she is not exaggerating.
And when Norma cooks you an all Vermont dinner, it is really something special. Yum-my! And double yummy for breakfast the next day. Totally worth the 7.5 hours of driving. Really.
And I got to meet Vincent in person! He really knows how to deal with an unruly tennis ball.
It was great to visit with Norma and meet David and Vincent. They have a lovely home full of neat stuff.
There was decorative yarn and fibre aplenty.
The remains of the ribby cardi.
But don't get the idea that Norma's place is all fancy shmancy. They keep their boots on a tray by the door just like the rest of us.
Thanks Norma! It was a great visit.

this is a great idea... next time I have visiters, I'll get them to help with the weeding;-)
You are amazing, you know that, Miss Paula? :)
It's not every friend that will share her WEED with you!
heh.
Sounds like a great time! Her cooking is both famous AND infamous.
Oh, what a chuckle to see my place through the eyes of a clever photographer. I loved having you, and I'm glad you enjoyed your visit.
I've had the Norma treatment (sans weeds) and I must say I'm a bit envious!
Oh goodie, I was hoping you'd post about your visit with Norma...I'm terribly envious, you know, but the kind with a huge smile on my face for you.
And yes, she DID have an enormous amount of weeds! It all sounded to me like making good times. Glad you could go and help her out ( I never figured Norma to be 'fancy shmancy' just incredibly exceptional).
