So where was I?
So where was I before all the excitement ... Ah yes. Catching up. There has been some knitting. This and that.
A cupcake. Sorry about the blurry picture. This was made as a parting gift for a co-worker who used to bring in the yummiest "cuppycakes". I looked at the cupcake pattern in One Skein (by Leigh Radford) and found it to be too mushroom shaped. So I just made up the pattern as I went along. Note to self: have brilliant ideas before 9 pm of the night before the good-bye lunch. Anyway, it was terribly cute and she loved it. And I think I wrote down the important parts so I should be able to make more. Theoretically.
Let's see. What else...
Oh yes. The 4-ply Handmaiden cashmere did get turned into a scrumptious neckwarmer. It was given to Super Cindy (administrative goddess extraordinaire) for her birthday a couple of weeks ago. Cindy loves winter and can't wait for the next one to come so she can wear this.
Way back at the beginning of April my cousins from Far Away (Vancouver, BC and Jackson, MS) visited for Passover. The Jackson crew bunked at my place and Littlest Cousin modelled the latest in felted headgear (the Lopi bowl from here). Don't you just want to eat her up?
That's it for tonight. More soon. I'm trying to catch up.

Completely cute! Photogenic, AND a ham.
That cupcake looks nearly edible! The neck warmer is beautiful...and Littlest Cousin? quite possibly the cutest Littlest Cousin ever! What a smile!
