Works-in-progress are making me crazy so there will be no casting on for something new until something gets finished. Here are the main contenders:
1. Socks for SIL - one done; 21of 26 cable crossings done on the other.
2. Blanket for Youngest Child - 2/3 done. Each stripe is one 100 g ball. I'm ready to begin the decreasing portion which will use two more balls. The short end measures 32" (82 cm).
3. Tesselated Hat - half done, but I want to redo the earflaps now that I have unvented a better way.
4. Shawl-collared Vest - aka last year's Olympic Knitting project; needs raw edges of steeks turned under and a zipper installed.
My recipient from ISE3 posted quite a while back about receiving her scarf (which I mailed from Poughkeepsie, NY while attending Rhinebeck, and which she got on time, I might add). But I haven't posted about it here. So here it is again, for your ogling pleasure. I wish you could feel it too, as the Sea Silk just felt wonderful after washing and blocking - like a giant liquid ribbon of coolness.
