The Loot

| | Comments (5)

Well, the weather today was cold, grey, and raining. All day. So the Rhinebeck loot photos had to be taken on the corner of my desk, near the window and what little daylight there was. Anyway, I think I was pretty restrained in my acquisitions. Everything I bought fit into one shopping bag with room to spare. See?

What? You want a better look? Okay ...

To Rhinebeck and Back

|

1,288. That's how many kilometres I drove going to Rhinebeck and back. It's a long way, especially driving alone, and at least half of it through rain that was, as another attendee put it, "biblical". But the highways were good, and apart from the sad lack of Tim Horton's, and the appallingly poor street signage in Poughkeepsie, I enjoyed the drive. It was totally worth it.

Swap Show and Tell

I received a wonderful package last week from my Spinning Roving Swap pal, Silvia.

You can read more here, and see more pictures here. I can hardly wait to get down to Rhinebeck where I expect to meet "enablers" galore!
